I just saw this and thought I would tell you a bit about my corporation Prime Numbers.
We are a wormhole corporation that is currently moving into a Class 4 wormhole. We are a smaller corp running with 8 people currently and I prefer it that way. There is not as much drama and it maximizes the profits (isk) we earn from wormhole life. I like to think of wormhole life with our corporation as a well rounded experience. We pretty much do it all from Industrial (combining wh resources into T3), mining, gas harvesting, PI, running combat sites, and of course PVP. Our goal is simply to make lots of isk and have fun doing it. Also, the core of our group is all really close friends. Some of us know each other in real life so with the people I recruit I look at cohesion with us before skills and abilities.
I also look for a level of maturity in our members. We are adults with lives and families outside of this game. We enjoy to joke around and let loose but we have an extremely low tolerance for tweens that don't understand how to interact with adults. I also don't really do babysitting and I believe in people managing themselves. We are coordinated when we need to be coordinated. You can't do much in a class 4 wormhole solo so everything out here is about teamwork, but as stated previously you must be able to manage yourself. You won't ever be required to do anything that you don't want to do. The only expectation is that you work to benefit the group as a whole. We all work together as a team because living in a wormhole requires that.
The only "rule" (if you want to call it that) we have is don't be a douche. I've found that if this needs to be defined or explained then you won't fit in well with us.
In regards to our in game activity, we are active players but because we are smaller and we have jobs and families that require attention our times of operation can be a bit random. We currently have one player in the UK and the rest of us are spread across the US. If you require people to be on at all times that you are on then we won't be a good fit for you. There will be times none of us will be on simply because work or life doesn't allow it, but we are active. LIFE BEFORE EVE! There are times that I'll log on to clear a combat site and my kids decide to run up to me and scream in my ear so I have to pull away to give them attention. It happens and its good that it happens. This is how we roll.
If any of this peaks your interest feel free to eve mail me (I'm currently not in game) and I'll respond with any questions you may have. |
